We had a Fabulous meeting for September!

It is so great to take a moment to meet with like-minded sisters that share the same interest, being real women!

Lets get real, we as women go through a lot. Some of us walk in multiple roles. We are mothers, wives, employees, business owners and the list goes on. But how do we be all that God has created us to virtuously? It starts with our relationship with Him. When we place God first, everything else in life will line up.

Many experiences were share but the girlfriends begin to share testimonials and personal experience about how God had brought them to where they are today. One of our sisters shared her experience in being in abusive relationship and now she is a strong woman that can take care and live as an example for her child. That you don’t have to allow a man to use you and manipulate your mind. It was a very eye opening experience and it did bless the women that were present.

Another great testimony was of a women who is new in the faith. How her struggle in getting to know Jesus is not the easier thing in life but it is the best thing. Jesus is the best thing that has ever happen to her and how you have to change the people you hang around and shake lose the negative things that can hold you down. She shared how you still have desires and how to overcome them with the help of God. She was a positive example of how to get started on the right path in life and how it can be a struggle but it is not impossible.

We had a new sister that was apart of our group this month, she was wondering how in the world did God bring her to this point of her life? But she knew that it was for a purpose and she is living her daily life walking in faith. How that every step God has made a way. She moved to Tyler from a word from God and how that word has given her a roof over her head and put food of the table. What an experience she shared with us.

Women that are apart of this focus group are focus on one thing; there is a better way. We can come together as women, as sisters, as girlfriends atleast once a month to celebrate our victories and encourage our sister that life will get better.
